THE FILM
During the final siege of Barcelona, Agnès wants to escape the war, while Jan is determined to defend his city. Their story places love and survival against the last days of the War of the Spanish Succession.
THE MUSIC
I loved the chance to write an epic score for full orchestra. With its many characters, leitmotifs and expansive themes, the music grew into a symphonic work full of nuances and detail.
