The story of 4,500 Spanish Civil War negatives by Robert Capa, Gerda Taro and David “Chim” Seymour, lost during the war and recovered in Mexico City seventy years later. The film connects the rediscovery of the photographs with exile and historical memory.

THE MUSIC

Working alongside Michael Nyman was an honour. The rediscovery of the suitcase made this a deeply meaningful story for me, bringing a lost part of our historical memory back to light.
