Erlebnispark Schloss Thurn is a family theme park in Heroldsbach (Bavaria) known for its daily live entertainment—most famously the knights’ tournament and a high-energy Western stunt show—set amid gardens, woodland and a historic castle. Recent seasons have expanded the “Das Magische Tal” (Magic Valley) area and continued the park’s rich show tradition with horse-stunt productions.

At Schloss Thurn we began scoring entire areas rather than isolated attractions. I worked with a first-rate team. With Adri Mena and Gerard Alís Raurich as fellow composers to cover the newly inaugurated Das Magische Tal and refresh the Far West. We delivered ambient area loops and bespoke attraction cues, including queue and on-ride music. The finishing touch was updating parts of the Far West show music, and especially the park’s flagship knights show (the Ritterturnier, in recent seasons also staged as “Der wahre König”).
