Gate 99 starts from the Glam Golf idea and expands it: not just mini golf, but a portal into imagination. Each Gate opens to a different world where attractions and adventures blend—in Frankenthal’s case, a mini-golf journey through the Atlantis universe.

The project is intentionally scalable. The music was conceived not only for a specific venue but to immerse visitors in a broader fantasy world that can travel to venues of different sizes. Always tied to the voyage of discovery toward the lost city of Atlantis.

With Heiko Kraft as project director, we shaped a score that guides players room by room: music that deepens step by step into darker, more mysterious textures until the lost city is revealed—and light returns.

The main theme is one of the symphonic overtures I’m most proud of. I wrote it note by note over a full month, during a very hot August that year.
